Fire and Rescue Apparatus

At its fire station, Manassas Park’s Fire and Rescue Department currently houses two engines, two medic units, and several support vehicles.

Our most recent addition is a 2013 Road Rescue Medic unit with a Terrastar chassis. The unit went into service January 2014 and was custom designed to meet the needs of our Paramedics. “M509”, as this unit is designated, joins “M509B” which is a 2009 Ford F450 built by PL Custom.

Engine company operations are handled by two Piece Engines. “Engine509” is a 2008 Pierce Enforcer equipped with a 1500 gallon per minute pump, 750 gallon tank and 40 gallons of foam. “Engine509B” is a 1996 Pierce Quantum also with a 1500 gpm pump and 500 gallon tank with 40 gallons of foam.
